The Library was started with approximately 200 books. At present, the Library has a total of 1535 books, 30 CDs/DVDs, 19 current periodicals, popular magazines & newspapers, 73 back volumes, 19 Postgraduate theses, and 225 reports. In addition, the Library provides more than 35 million digitized pages in 1,60,000 digital items (volumes) like old books, old Journals, reports, proceedings, reprints, research highlights, training manuals, historical records, and more than 1,00,000 Ph.D. and M.Sc. theses submitted by various ICAR Institutes / SAUs and with full-text searchable facilities through Krishikosh.
